Pain Of Love

This pain is cutting deep into my heart
and is tearing me apart.
If you only knew how my heart ached
then maybe your eyes would awake
To the way I feel about you,
then you'd realize, too, I can't let go of you.
This pain is making my senses blind
and driving me out of my mind.
I try hard to make you understand
then maybe you'd grab my hand
And say we'll be together
even if it's not forever,
But until then I'll have to deal
with this pain that's so real.
